Last month’s Networking Breakfast was hosted by Oakhaven Hospice, when we had the pleasure of Lyn from Clear River HR treating us to an interactive  presentation all about DISC profiling.

Both fascinating and insightful, as we received tips on how to handle different personality types, how we can improve our communication skills by understanding how others’ frames of reference, biases, and preconceived ideas affect communication.  It was a great way to learn how to connect better with people around us.

The Evening Business Academy

One of our members, Tina Worthing, from Aventina Training, is running an affordable series of in person events designed to improve your productivity by improving your business and organisational skills. Each stand-alone 90-minute session will teach easy to implement skills, and introduce practical tools, you can use to benefit your business, or career. Attend one, attend a few, or attend them all. Together they build into a valuable ongoing resource that can be used again and again.  Find out More
